I asked time ago on how to migrate/build KDE3 app on new TDE 14

The instructions helped a lot, though I had to update the scripts in the admin and debian directories to be able to produce debian jessie package.

I love the 0.6.3 (old style) of kplayer. Is someone interested in using it?

Now my question is related to the second part mentioning something about git, cleanup and commit.

Is there a simple step by step howto for this as  I am not that familiar with git and don't want to mess/spend much time on it.

I need some basic help/guide on this if someone is interested in kplayer-0.6.3 running on TDE 14.

It's just stupid I spent couple of days on this and there is no benefit for the community
