Hi all,

First I'd like to thank you for trying my remaster!

Ark does not work with multi-part zip files. There is quite a few archive managers who are capable of doing it on Linux, if I remember well, such as PeaZip, Xarchiver, File-roller. Try to search for archive managers in your favorite package manager, and you'll find quite a few who can do the job. Or most archive managers on Windows do the job.

To start PCLinuxOS livedvd from USB, I recommend using UnetBootin. But be aware that UnetBootin does not always work on first try. There is also the possibility to buy an external USB DVD drive. They are 15-20$ brand new on ebay. I bought one and it makes life much easier on drive-less laptops.

For others who might have trouble with FileFactory, you can try back later.

Thank you!

Hello Alexandre, I do the other remaster as you possibly know. Anyway have you had trouble with the trinity repo for pclinuxos, I ask this as it was cleaned up a couple of days ago and there are a couple of dependencies missing, notably kb3-common, I personally was lucky enough to update before the clean out but others wasn't :) I'll be downloading yours to see what the difference is and to nick any ideas lol :P you of course can do likewise :)

By the way as regards to liveusb, pclinuxos does have a live usb tool that can transfer the iso to a usb in the repos, might be worth a try as unetbootlin can have hit and miss results.

Thanks
