Yes, PCLOS have its small bugs too... I had a bug this week with the Network Center on my fully-updated system. There was no wifi spots in the wifi spot list, but when I right-click on the icon in the notification area, the list is there. PCLOS is still the one I prefer, but it is not always as stable as it was in the past.
From what I can see, TDE opens back the windows that were open when the computer was turned off, but maybe not all kinds of windows... These windows were probably opened just before you have turned off your computer. Maybe you have launched 3 times GKrellm?
