Does this work only for R14?
For me (TDE 3.5.13.2 / Ubuntu 12.04) the list in the Build Search Index window stays desperately empty whatever I select in the "Contents" tab
It has been like that since my first first TDE install, years ago.

So I gave up on this one.

I _like_ what I have got and am reluctant to change it: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  But I love 14 on the
box attached to my television, so I shall soon upgrade.  Again, I have Jessie on my TV box and love that too, so
I shall upgrade to that soon.  (I'm assuming upgrade to 14 and let that settle, then upgrade to Jessie.)

I've just (2 weeks ago) done a complete wipe and install Jessie with R14 on my machine.  Its different from
PCLinuxOS in many ways and seems to have some anoying bugs.  Not least Synaptic doesn't work ! The cursor changes
and then it dies quietly.  Apt is fine as I would expect.  Silly things, but no show stopper :-)
