Hi, Tim,
Nope, still not accessible from here:
----
# apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net --recv-keys 2B8638D0
Executing: gpg --ignore-time-conflict --no-options --no-default-keyring --secret-keyring /etc/apt/secring.gpg --trustdb-name /etc/apt/trustdb.gpg --keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --primary-keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --keyserver keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net --recv-keys 2B8638D0
gpg: requesting key 2B8638D0 from hkp server keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net
gpgkeys: HTTP fetch error 7: couldn't connect to host
gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.
gpg: Total number processed: 0
----
Is this normal HTTP -- TCP/80 or TCP/443 ?
Just tried http://keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net
in Konqueror, got redirected to http://find.searchassist.com/landing.jsf?p=cnksver&q=www.keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net&rs=key+server+quick+build+person+computing&kw=&id=ikadgfadiiadc&t=9_9_1_0_1_4_1
Also tried https://keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net
and got an SSL certificate error for a self-signed cert.
Is your IP address 97.64.229.82 ?
Do you have any idea how to download the key manually with a browser (assuming the aforementioned HTTPS site is the right one)?
THanks-
Douglas
