We have a list of bugs to resolve before releasing v14.0.0. You can keep up with it at this link:
http://bugs.pearsoncomputing.net/show_bug.cgi?id=2014

So far we have solved 42 bugs. There are 63 bugs remaining + 12 conditional ones (which probably will go into v14.0.0 nevertheless). This was done in about 5 or 6 weeks so far, so a little slower than initially thought.

Based on the number of bugs, I think it is realistic to say that *at least* 3 more months of development are needed, potentially more if some bugs prove to be nasty ones. It is difficult to make a more correct estimation, mainly because we do not know our workload for coming months, so we don't know how much time we have available for TDE.
Anyhow the target has been defined and we are slowly moving towards it. So we will get there in the end :-)

Hope this gives you a good idea of where v14.0.0 is at the moment.
Cheers
  Michele

Hello Michele
Thank you very much for your reply!
The actual reason I asked, ((and included the word approx)), is that I regularly "get poked in the ribs "by fellow linux users which are interested ( from mild to hot ) and asked questions like :
Is it going OK there ?--Is there good progress ?--What do you think--when ? and a few more !
So, I feel far more comfortable answering them now, than just saying...soon...wait...

I think 3 to 4 months to solve 62 bugs ( +12 ) is very reasonable , taken into consideration the limited manpower the project has.

Also, I suppose it is OK with you to "copy&paste" your reply to others....>>outside the project !
If not, please let me know. ! ( it won't be a problem )

Again, thanks a lot.
Best, Tony
