Hi,
I just installed ExeGnu on a USB stick, but KDM asks for user and password.
I tried everything I could imagine, but nothing worked. Can you help, please?

Frrrom very long ago, I seem ( repeat:seem) to remember that the
password for root is toor.
After that, My RAM goes blank. (blanc ? )

"password for root is toor." I think you're thinking of Slax (a
Slackware-based live CD). Or another Slackware-based distro.

The reason why you see the kdm password box is to allow the user to
choose xfce if wanted. It defaults to Trinity after a short timeout or
on pressing "Enter"

Just to clarify, that means autologin. Unless you do something manually
in kdm greeter (or relogin) you should not have to enter a password at all.
