Hi i did some filtering to my /var/apt/term.log to 1get all overwrite errors and then sorted out all lines whit kde3, so some you probably allready fixed but yeah here the output comes:kb9vqf@pearsoncomputing.net skrev:Probably a bug , but i suck at fixing bug reports so:P il trow it out here: konq-plugins-kde3 has some files installed into places where kde4 packagesd also wants to put files "Packar upp konqueror-plugin-imagerotation (från .../konqueror-plugin-imagerotation_4%3a4.2.2-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb) ... dpkg - varning, ignorerar problem då --force använts: försöker skriva över "/usr/share/man/man1/jpegorient.1.gz" som också finns i paketet konq-plugins-kde3 Packar upp konqueror-plugin-fsview (från .../konqueror-plugin-fsview_4%3a4.2.2-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb) ... dpkg - varning, ignorerar problem då --force använts: försöker skriva över "/usr/share/man/man1/fsview.1.gz" som också finns i paketet konq-plugins-kde3" higlights in english: force install of: konqueror-plugin-imagerotation (konqueror-plugin-imagerotation_4%3a4.2.2-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb) gives overwrite of "/usr/share/man/man1/jpegorient.1.gz" thats also in konq-plugins-kde3(Version: 4:3.5.10-0ubuntu1~intrepid2) force install of konqueror-plugin-fsview (konqueror-plugin-fsview_4%3a4.2.2-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb) gives overwrite of "/usr/share/man/man1/fsview.1.gz" thats also in konq-plugins-kde3This should now be fixed; can you test and verify? Thanks! Timjust checked and no new kde3 packages.. and after i posted the post i saw some more kde3 packages that where having file conflikts whit kde4.. so you should probably do a check in manual pages, icon paths, and i18 i sean packages bugging me about that i have done force -uppgrade on.. but i can report the kde3 packages that has conflcting install paths.. here as i se them pop upp.Sure, if you don't mind I'd appreciate being notified of the conflicts at they occur on your end. I don't have any easy way of checking for conflicts, other than installing all of KDE4 and KDE3, and right now I don't have the disk space to do that on any of my machines. The packages should have updated by now; can you try again? The PPAs are being quite slow today, unfortunately. Thanks! Tim
