If you go in the Network Center (an icon on the desktop), can you see your wireless adaptor?

If not, you can go in the PCLOS Control Center (the round grey icon in the taskbar, right beside the ''start menu'') and in the Network & Internet category, you can choose ''Set up a new network interface''. Choose ''Wireless'' and if your network adapter is not automatically configured, it will offer you the choice of using ndiswrapper. Ndiswrapper allow you to use the Windows driver made for your wifi card on Linux. Some windows drivers are already installed, or you can install yours. Then, their are good chances that it will work as it should!
