what exactly do you dislike about KWin 4? What would for you be a reason to not use it? Are you aware that it is exactly the same window manager as twin with just less bugs if you turn off one option?
I am not asking you to switch to KDE 4 (which btw does not exist, but that's just a minor detail).
If you make your KWIN4 available as a Debian Squeeze-compatible package in a working repository, as Tim has done with TWIN, and make sure that cross-grades from KWIN4 to TWIN work in both directions and without requiring a vast horde of KDE4 libraries, I'll try it. OK?
I am a developer and no packager. I do not have Debian Squeeze (running Wheezy here) and I don't assume that I would be able to produce a working package. Luckily KDE is in a situation that developers can concentrate on developing and packagers can concentrate on packaging :-)
As I stated in another mail: if I offer help - and that's what I am doing, no matter what giving you KWin 4 means extra work for me - I find it completely unacceptable to have further demands from me.
Cheers Martin
