tdecmshell screensaver
That's what I was reporting when I got side-tracked with the "Is there a Master list of what is rename K->T or K->TDE"... It loads when called with tdecmshell, but not from kcontrol:
I'll take a guess this is a VM problem.
I test in VMs, but there are limits with hardware.
