Thanks Calvin for that clarification on use of /opt, I did not doubt
that was true myself.
As a long-time Debian user I'm just trying to promote TDE acceptance
in Debian circles as much as i can; smxi offered inclusion on my
request, posted an updated script and that was what happened.

a symlink at /usr/bin/tdm (at least for Debian packages) and for
