You might also want to disable tsak, delete the related pipe-socket files in /tmp, and
reboot or restart the X server. That will provide you an initial clean slate to then
re-enable Tsak from with KControl.

Will give it a try when I start tde again. Building in a chroot, I just fire
it up to test :)
