just for the record: kicker was already more or less ported to Qt4 at the
time it got replaced by Plasma. It was in the source code till October 2007
[1], just a few months prior to the 4.0 release. So it would be a good idea
starting from this point.
And I personally agree on that this would be a better approach for Trinity
from a maintenance point of view as I have pointed out a few times in the
past ;-)
