I am working on a way to get upstream support in place. The major barrier

repositories; without that, the TDE plugins cannot be compiled by the

Although nice, I'm not concerned with
complete look-and-feel
compatibility with KDE3/Trinity (for example, icons), just the file
pickers. The LibreOffice file pickers are sh*t. :)
You can try to use kde3-kgtk program which is a wrapper that allows to
start Qt3 and GTK applications in such a way that they use KDE3's file
pickers.
