Tim,
on the main website, there are a couple of things to improve IMO.
1) the link "Bugs" currently points to
"https://bugs.trinitydesktop.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=ALL" which will
automatically load a long list of bugs resulting in a long loading time.
It would be better if it simply pointed to
"https://bugs.trinitydesktop.org" so the loading time would be shorter
and the user could choose by him/herself what to
look for.
2) in the mailing list page
https://www.trinitydesktop.org/mailinglist.php, I think the
"suggestions" about
High/Moderate/Low traffic could be removed. For example the Dev ML has a
higher traffic than the User ML, but the
"suggestions" are saying the opposite.
Just my 2 cents.
Cheers
Michele
Hi Michele,
I tried to get to see the whole bug list from the other link, and I find
that it is not very simple to get there. I do not personally find bugzilla
to be that intuitive or easy to use. So, even if it would make the loading
time shorter, I am not sure that this one is and advantage.
The issue you describe is exactly why the link was set up that way in the
first place. It will remain as such.
For the second , it's true that the traffic info
is not of much use,
except to know if it will fill your inbox too fast.
So deleting the traffic info lines is preferable to updating them with
correct information? Just want to verify before updating the site.
Tim
