could you post also a screenshot of the original background? Currently amarok crashes on
startup on my system and can not see the differences.

By this do you mean that amarok does not work at all on your system?
Okay, on the first screenshot here is the default amarok theme
On the second one, it is with the new theme provided on the first message.
The third picture is the background of the kubuntu amarok theme. The new theme is derived
from this one.
