I'm thankful that François is able to provide rpm builds. I don't want to be asking for more of his time by sidetracking into theme re-development. I would expect the XDG system to provide something as a suitable substitute if TDE's own icons couldn't be used in place of Mageia's imposing Plymouth deps.
