It could be that the information about the new bugs automatically receive all active developers? I mean, Tim, Slávek, Michele, François and Darrell.
What do you think?
I usually check for new bugs every time and I had actually seen that bug report (2127) a few days ago, but had forgotten by the time I was addressing FTBFS during a full rebuild.
I don't think it is strictly necessary, but it's ok for me if we implement such notification system. Only users who wants to be notified should be added to the list of receipients. If we do implement that, include me in the list as well.
