Yes,
but kaffeine is not a default app. Ditto for kmplayer.
Anything in the applications branch is not a default base app.
Kaboodle is part of tdemultimedia, which makes kaboodle the default
video player, but is broken and only supports older versions of avi
and mpg.
We probably should test a base Trinity installation to learn what
still works and what breaks and what limitations users encounter.
Many of us are long accustomed to adding a bunch of additional apps
and we no longer use the "default" apps.
You may be in luck. I've created a 'tde-base' meta-package that allows users
to
install only the libs/deps tdelibs and tdebase (as well as twin-crystal that I
refuse to do without). I will try a 'tde-base' install after my next build run
and evaluate what is there.
