Those are not the latest menus from tdebase?
All menus on my box are in /etc/xdg.
I don't know that that location makes any difference. Is that where you
always have installed the Trinity menus? Do you use /etc/trinity/xdg?

The quicklaunch bug was fixed in commit c839bb9a, Thursday July 12. Make sure
you are building with tdebase pulled to date.
Do you have a backup copy of your 3.5.12 profile before moving to R14? If you
do then we can methodically troubleshoot our way through this.
