The issue is something that has changed or been introduced since
6/24/12, my last build of tdebase. I have kicked off another full build
with this mornings sources and will see what happens. I built tdebase
with debug so hopefully it will give more details about any failure.

There is
bug report 714, kio_man does not work with some distros.
The reported problem affects run-time and not compiling, but try
applying the patch to tdebase and see what happens?
Will give it a go and report back.
