TDE now compile and install with newers versions of
current older
software and integrates with new libs.. but real thing like kdenetwork
are hte features that we need! thanks for Tdenetwork
its a great work that KDE3 now can be installed on newer versions of
linuxes.. but its a pain the changes .. and from KDE3 to TDE there
many changes on install process, but few in real features as now many
here said
kmplayer works: not complety
kdenlive works: not complety
mlt : older (but works, thanks)
kppp: not work
kvpn: work only with few protocols
kopete: not work all protocols
My advice: focused in bugfixeds and support event features
But now its late, TDE its in a ported fase from KDE to TDE naming sheme...
Remenber: If the project is maintained only by the few who use it one
day will consume its developers, TDE its like xp with spteroits
