I tried karbon, but I'm beginning to believe
karbon is user-hostile. I am able to draw a diagonal line with
libreoffice draw, but I cannot figure out how to draw a line with rounded ends and found
no help online.
An examination shows that Karbon has no pen tool, which really should be added.
It also has no obvious way to delete individual points from a shape (if it did have, you
could have scribbled a pencil line then deleted the intermediate points to straighten
it).
These are pretty serious deficiencies for what's supposed to be a usable vector
editing application.
