+1. I would have likely checked it in to GIT already if it wasn't frozen...
Remember that while the GIT tree is frozen the best thing to do is create
a bug report and upload the patch, then mark the bug report as PATCHAVAIL.
When GIT thaws there will be a large import of all the patches with that
flag on the bugtracker.

As this been looked into?
I have received no responses. I am going to submit the new startkde
(starttde) script through a bug report. I'm not sure how others are able
to
run TDE without the changes. Here things break real fast when I use the
default script. :(
