Some thoughts:
Image sizes might be too large for folks on slower connections. I have a
nominal broadband connection and some of the images took several seconds
to download.

That might actually be my uplink, which is nearly saturated right now.
Most of the images are only ~150Kb in size; maybe going to a higher
compression level would help.
