Error - artsmessage:
Sound server fatal error:
cpu overload, aborting
This message pops up on session login, and repeats if
dismissed. How can I make
it go away and stay away? Lots of noise in .xsession-errors too! :(

Still common on Mageia installations. I wonder if $PATH has anything to do with it:
# inxi -S
System:
Host: 00srv Kernel: 5.14.21-150500.55.62-default arch: x86_64 bits: 64
Console: pty pts/9 Distro: openSUSE Leap 15.5
# echo $PATH
/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin:/root/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/opt/kde3/bin
# inxi -S
System:
Host: hpg33 Kernel: 6.6.28-desktop-1.mga9 arch: x86_64 bits: 64
Desktop: Trinity v: N/A Distro: Mageia 9
# echo $PATH
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/lib64/qt5/bin
The inxi author is the one who noticed lack of /opt/trinity/bin in $PATH on Mageia.
