As a matter of interest, are your system's Qt libs in $QTDIR/lib or $QTDIR/lib64?
32-bit: $QTDIR/lib 64-bit: $QTDIR/lib64 $QTDIR: /opt/trinity
I'm using Slackware 14.0 RC3 for my 64-bit testing.
