Sometimes API changes actually introduce new functionality; you should take a look at the latest Qt3/TQt3 versions in our GIT tree before saying Qt3.3.8 is sufficient for everything. ;-)

I didn't say that there is no room for improvements :) I'm just against aggressive changes in API. KDE3/TDE is an ecosystem and changes in core API destroys it (as KDE4 did).
