Thanks for all your feedback, it's good to see how different people have different views. As Darrell clearly explained in his long comment, we don't want to "rush for releases" but we want to be able to provide fixes to users in a timely manner. Rushed release cycles are bad, but also "too long" release cycles don't do any good usually. The idea behind my proposal came from the very limited resources that we have, so I thought at length at how we could possibly improve the efficiency of our efforts, since most of us can only dedicate spare time to TDE. Anyhow it was just a proposal for discussion, so since the majority of us are fine with the current version numbering schema, that will probably stay.as it is. Cheers Michele
