Yes, we have the same files - Debian binary packages are more granulary. I will update the installation, to be installed in only one of these packages. The question is, from which package?
Unlike Debian, Slackware has no limitations on installing the same files from multiple packages. The Slackware package manager is strict about removing files from multiple packages. So I understand how Debian complains during installation and Slackware does not. :)
Debian says conflict and user must use --force to unpack package manually. It's definitely not good for Debian / Ubuntu users :)
a) All from tdearwork b) From tdeaddons and tdesdk c) None of the above => another interesting idea :)
The kbabel images are straightforward: remove them from tdeartwork. The images apply only to kbabel, which is installed through the tdesdk package.
ktimemon is a panel applet (name: System Monitor --- A simple system monitor). That applet is installed by tdeaddons. So again, remove the images from the tdeartwork package.
tdeartwork contains many icons for most of the TDE "base packages". Because tdeaddons and tdesdk are "base packages", I consider it acceptable that the icons for kbabel and ktimemon are installed from tdeartwork.
Makes sense to me. :)
Darrell
Note: I intend to only modify the installation - I will not delete files.
