Unfortunately, when I see a webpage with no whitespace at the edges, the first thing
that pops into my head is, "The 1990s called--they want their aesthetic back."
All it
needs is a few old-style frames. ;P
Also, the grey gradient you provided doesn't look good to me with the other graphics.
(In other words, the version doesn't do much for me.)
