Yeah, I forgot about that problem! Can you send me the exact sequence of commands (or script) you are using to build the package?
I unpack the libcarddav_0.6.2-0debian2.tar.gz sources.
Then I run ./autogen.sh.
Works for libcaldav but not libcarddav.
