kbugbuster

To anybody interested, bug report 803 was filed to address problems with using kbugbuster with the Trinity bugzilla. The good news is kbugbuster does connect to the Trinity bugzilla. Although probably needing attention to better support newer versions of bugzilla, I believe only some nominal patching is required to restore pleasurable viewing functionality to kbugbuster. The most noticeable problems are 1) Trinity is not the default server and 2) failure to correctly parse the XML. Please read the bug report to help. I am working on a nominal patch to fix some kbugbuster branding issues and to add the Trinity bugzilla to the server list. I will upload the patch soon. Yes, there is Deskzilla, a Java app. Restoring functionality to kbugbuster is more palatable and allows us to eat our own dog food. :-) Darrell
