Although I have wonderful success with this patch, Francois raised a possibly related
concern. I am unable to replicate the bug Francois described, but perhaps I am not
performing the steps in the same exact manner.
-- Fix mimetype detection is incorrect, some files
appear as Unknown

I have not test the proposed patch, but I will. Tim believes the problems should be
addressed in the shared-mime-info database. How do we go about doing that?
