3-to-1 ratio --- which one was faster?
Speaking of debugging, does including the debugging
symbols affect
run-time operation?
Sorry, perhaps it wasn't that clear. The release version is quicker.
The difference is in the optimization options used when compiling in release mode instead
of debug mode.
