The K in KDE
did not stand for anything. It was the
character that came before
L in the Latin alphabet, which stands for Linux. It
was
chosen because KDE ran
on many types of UNIX (and perfectly well on FreeBSD).
The T in TDE does stand for something. It stands for
Trinity
and is the name for
the project that brought you the first atomic bomb as
well
as the name of the
project that brought you this desktop. TDE also runs on
many
types of UNIX (and
perfectly well on FreeBSD).
I'll use your replacement text to patch and push some time
today. :)

I changed the wording some. Using Trinity and atomic bombs in the same sentence was
comical, yes, but not good PR. :)
