No I did not. I do know the difference between the two!
If you want to see what was compiled, download the OpenOffice source from
QuickBuild and take a look. As there is no central upstream repository
for the integration patches (yet) it was up to each distribution to keep a
copy of what worked. It is quite possible that I happen to have a version
that works, in which case I need to upload it to the Trinity SVN so that
others may use it as well.

is not a problem of turning on the KDE3 integration.
The file picker did not work even with KDE3 integration turned on.
Was a bug report filed? I have not run into this problem myself, and I
use OpenOffice on a daily basis.
