Sorry I thought I had the right to express disappointment with deprcation
of KOffice.
You do. The only thing I would ask is that you rationally explain why it
is a bad idea, which you did in the first part of your message. You will
notice that I immediately halted the deprecation based on that part alone.
It is NOT our intent to drop anything unless there is a very good reason.
Your mention of krita, etc. invalidated the assumptions under which we
were ready to drop koffice. There is a reason that the decision was made
during a meeting, so that people such as yourself could come and express
your views or bring to light things that we may have overlooked. As you
know, the codebase is large, and it is easy to overlook something that is
important to another individual.
