(1) All screensavers are missing. Usually I am used
to
seeing the following (screenshot from another 3513 install):

Likely to be a install path issue during compiling. Read my comments in bug report 1178.
Remember that KDE/TDE <=3.5.13 used different install path locations than R14.
(2) I have 2 'Trash' icons on the desktop. One
with the
correct icon, one without:

Remember that both 3.5.13 SRU and R14 use the same $HOME/Desktop directory to store
certain desktop icons. Using two different profile directories is a good idea because
remember that R14 includes all of the XDG compliance changes. Thus, expect breakage trying
to use the same profile between 3.5.13 and R14.
