So far I did not inquire about the details of what is
happening in docbook
tool chain, but I have prepared catalogs in XML format.

I will try to take a look at this problem as well, but will probably be over the weekend.
It seems strange they decided to drop SGML.
Are you experiencing the problem only in filelight?
