I keep going in circles in the debian package pages. Before contacting the
maintainer, I thought I would ask our debian users where to look for it...
for example:
http://packages.debian.org/source/wheezy/gopchop
scroll down to the downloads section:
gopchop_1.1.8-5.debian.tar.gz
that tar.gz includes everything needed to make the package, including
the patches, just like you would have with a pkgbuild's .src.gz on arch :-)
