Yes, it's not just TDE. The Flash 10 in Konqueror problem has been
around since before TDE existed -- actually since Flash 10 first
appeared. Flash 9 seems to work okay, but it crashes sometimes in
Konqueror.
If the patch fixes the Flash 10, that's great. But if Flash 10 videos
are working without the patch, then I agree with Kate in asking if any
other non-Adobe/Macromedia plugins are installed that were fixed to
recognize Flash 10 videos.
