My environmental variables are not set, but everything else checks out
it. I am re running it to see. (hopefully i won't get stuck at 37%)

Should only take 5 minutes to re-run to 37%. Make sure you set 'make VERBOSE=1'
in the build() function to get some additional debug info:

-DWITH_QT3=ON \

I suspect it is an ldconfig issue :)
