Hi there,
Many thanks for your work on Tde, I can't believe that I can have all this
on my extremely old computer and still getting a fast responsive desktop :)
this page says https://wiki.trinitydesktop.org/LiveCDs "unless otherwise
marked, all of them contain the most recent version" which is apparently
stopped being true since the release of 14.0.4, Exe Gnu/Linux* for example
is using 14.0.3 for the 64bit version, while the 32bit version seems to be
even older because the last update date for it is 2015!
I strongly believe that both Q4 os and Exe Gnu/Linux links needs to be
changed in order to reflect the home page not the downloads page, because
the user needs to read about them before downloading, I also think that you
should change the word "Debian" to "Exe Gnu/Linux" which is more
accurate,
because it's not Debian :) and state the your "Ubuntu" releases are not
official, and is made be you (isn't it?)

Actually, Exe Gnu/Linux is now Devuan-based. Far as I know the only
mainstream Debian+TDE live image is q4os.
I have been too busy to do updates recently but 32 and 64 bit ISOS are
now available.

2015-04-27, which definitely means that It doesn't contain the latest
version of Tde. basically, I didn't understand any word in your last reply

Gnu/Linux users.
and thank you so much for creating this distro, I been using it for a week
now and everything is smooth, the installer was simple, the applications
selection is pretty good, I like the idea of adding GTK Youtube viewer,
really thank you.

Abdorhman, my apologies if my post was not clear.
There are now current Exe GNU/Linux versions dated 2016-12-10 for
both amd64 and i386: http://exegnulinux.net/downloads/
These live images are no longer based on mainstream Debian. They are
now Devuan-based. I do not wish to support Debian's systemd policy.
My live builds are also "unofficial". How they are linked from the TDE
official site is up to the site admin (not me).
Thanks for the feedback on Exegnu, makes it all worth doing.

Thanks, I just installed the new 32bit version, and I have the following
comments:
Kpersonalizer didn't auto-start on the first boot, have you done this on
purpose? I don't think it's a good thing :(
After the first boot, the recycle bin was named "wastebin", but after
rebooting it change into being a "trash"!!
now I can mount removable devices, which I couldn't do in the previous
release :) =D thanks for fixing that bug, did you fix it on purpose?
creating a launcher of the installer on the desktop was a good idea, I was
just about to suggest it.
Klipper DOESN'T auto-start after every boot, I have to start it manually,
that's not a good thing I think.
do you have any localization plans for the feature? I would suggest turning
the website into a multilingual one, and creating a nice FAQ, along with
providing some screenshots and a list the holds the default applications
list, it will still a plain HTML one, but just with a new content. If
you're looking for someone to translate the installer into Arabic, count me
in.

Mpv used to work smoothly, now it is loosing a lot of frames.
there is a broken package by default (maybe I broke it when I installed
lm-sensors or osmo)

I have updated Q4OS and Exe Gnu linux links to point to the respective
home pages. I have also changed the name to "Exe
Gnu Linux".
