Hey, right now I'm on Trinity 14.0.10 CURRENT and I wanna add the PSB repos to make an upgrade to version 14.0.11, is that going to cause any conflicts & instabilities or should I expect the transition to be smooth?

Hi, PSB is basically R14.0.10 + all the changes applicable to R14.0.x made since the release of R14.0.x. It is very stable and I wouldn't expect any issue. In fact you will get the changes that goes into R14.0.11 as soon as they are done. The transition will be smooth. Just take note that if you wish to go back to a stable version, the best time will be when R14.0.11 is released, which will be somewhere towards the end of October.
Cheers Michele

I was thinking of switching to PSB also, but I don't know how to do it with my OpenSuSE distro.

NAICT, there's never been PSB for any of the rpm distros. We're lucky to have someone to build for openSUSE at all. Thank François we have it.

I suppose, then, the only way to get the equivalent would be to clone the appropriate branch source repository and compile it myself (if only I could figure out how to do that). :-) The only drawback to using TDE is that it is so Debian-oriented. (And, yes, I understand that the development community is very small; if I understood how that repository stuff and C programming works, I would be happy to help, but I don't.)
