When the coder ported to QT4/kde4, he didn't change the xml files and the way to write them. I'm currently updating kradio-trinity-3.5.13.1 with kradio4-presets-4.0.6 from http://kradio.sourceforge.net. I did a simple compile test on a Debian squeeze box and the presets, I had added, appears in the configuration part the software. Unfortunately I don't have a radio device to push the testing further. Are you interrested in the goal of updating Kradio's presets ? If so I'm willing to do it, this doesn't require programming skills (we have to add new countries in the Makefile.am in the presets directory nonetheless...not to difficult but time consuming )-; ).
