If I open the Help system and look inside the "Protocol" section, I see just a message "Information about the available protocols". I remember that some months ago there used to be a list of the available protocols in the system. I see the same problem both on my system (Jessie, local TDE build) and in a VM machine (Wheezy, official R14.0.0). Is anyone else seeing this? If so I will open a proper bug report.

Confirmed.
I tested some previous package sets. The regression was introduced between approximately Oct. 11 and Nov. 23. I cannot be more precise as I did not build any package sets between the two dates while awaiting the massive XDG updates to settle. I have not looked yet, but my first wild guess is a *.desktop file or files not updated to match a respective XDG change.

On my system, the Quickstart Guide, TDE User Guide, and TDE Administrator Guide open to the title heading rather than the top of the page. The result is the top image "appears" to be missing, but is actually there when scrolling up the page. Randomly testing other help books reveal a similar behavior. I can't put my finger on anything definite.
