I thought I had read that Konqueror will provide some new sorting options in 14.1.0.
If correct where can I read about the new options?
In particular I am hoping I can sort with the following alphabetical case sensitive order when using detailed list and tree view:
* Unhidden directories * Unhidden files * Hidden (dot) directories * Hidden (dot) files
An extra bonus if the hidden directories and files are tinted with less emphasis to indicate they are hidden.
Thanks.

Hi Darrell, please refer to https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/gitea/TDE/tdebase/pulls/240. Cheers Michele
Hi Michele,
I know I am very late to the game here, but I have finally have a change to the Konqueror handbook in case you want to include it for 14.1.1. Do you want me to open a PR or send the single-file patch to you directly?

Hi Vince,
creating PR is the best way. As a result, you will have credit as an author and will be easy to revise before merging.
Cheers
Hi Darrell,
It's been a long time since since I've seen a standard Konqueror menu, so I don't remember what's new vs. old. I think the view that's currently in place has the following groupings - Hidden directories - Non-hidden directories - Hidden files - Non-hidden files. Within each group, the list is sorted as desired. The new features will allow you to turn off these groupings but do not (yet?) change the order of the groups. The order of the groups stay the same whether or not you are reverse-sorting on the name column.
