I can no longer see a held message by clicking on the blue link for it on the held messages page.
I've tried both Firefox and Chromium.
There appear to be other minor cosmetic changes so I'm guessing an upgrade happened?

Yes, your estimate is correct. I made an upgrade from Buster to Bullseye, so there was also update of Mailman + Hyperkitty. And it looks like the web interface is now broken - there are no popup windows and menus :(
Thank you for the warning. We will have to look for whether this is a problem that is already known and what the solution has. At first glance it looks like something around libjs-bootstrap4 and libjs-popper.js.
Cheers

Package reinstalled, apache restarted, and popup windows and menus are already opening properly. The problem seems to have been the result of the order of the package update and the reload of services.
